Matuku Moana

Kia Ora! I'm Haylee Shore, a proud mom to Millen and Ronni, who go to Kaiaua School, and I’m also lucky enough to be a bonus mum to Mackenzie. I share my life with my amazing partner Val, and I cherish those special moments with family and friends. When I'm not busy with family, you'll often find me enjoying travel, camping, or fishing.

I've been a registered teacher for quite a while now, and after spending some meaningful years as a centre manager in early childhood education, I made the exciting switch to primary school teaching in 2021. This change has truly sparked my passion for formal education, especially in structured literacy. In my classroom, I strive to create a calm and organised environment with routines that help our students thrive. Building strong relationships is super important to me, as I want to nurture a caring atmosphere for our Tamariki. I'm really excited to be part of the Kaiaua community and to play a role in helping our students grow.
