Calf Club & Gala Day

Saturday 24th October 2020

We are looking forward to a wonderful day. Our annual Calf Club combined with a Gala Day.

Calf Club has been a tradition at our school for many generations and is an event that brings our school and wider community together. After many year's absence, due to Mycoplasma Bovis, we are happy to welcome calves back this year, with strict health guidelines. We also have lambs, goats and/or chickens entered. The winning children and their animals then go on to the wider Franklin South Group Day. This year we are pleased to be hosting Group Day.

Last year the event was a huge success so once again we are holding it on Labour Weekend and combining it with a Gala Day. This is our major fundraising event each year. We have a dedicated group of school parents, staff and children that put a lot of work and effort into making Calf Club/Gala Day a successful event.

On the day we have food stalls run by the PTA, sideshow activities, animal competitions, pony rides, bouncy castle, raffles and exhibition of our students art work.

We have our Scarecrow/Guy competition which is open to everyone and free to enter. See entry forms for details on how to enter. We would love to see more entries this year.

We also have public stalls, this too is open to everyone and if you would like to have a stall please complete the application form below.

Look forward to seeing you on the day. We start at 10.00am.
